Interesting facts about me

Hello to all, I am Tim from New Haven, CT
I'm currently self employed and trying to make the transition into a career in the towing profession. I am learning a great deal from this board and can really see the brotherhood of this field.
I have been interested in towing since I was much younger and would visit my father's cousins' company in New Hampshire.
Right now I am trying to find a company in the New Haven area that would be willing to hire someone that has lockout experience (former locksmith), great work ethic, spotless driving history, and really interested in getting started in this field and proving myself an asset to your company.

    Hello Tim,

Nice to hear you are going into the towing bussiness. A few helpful hints I can give you are:
    1) Always Always be aware of what and who is around you. crazy drivers
    2) Don't be afraid to double check your self.
    3) One thing I learned when chaining something heavy is to always cross chain. (if you never loaded heavy equipment.)
    4) And if it is like here in Florida then open the door for customers, call them and let them know you are in route to save them, and I have always recieved good tips from them, at least $100 a week just on tips!(Hey it buys lunch or even a drink from the hot sun)
    5) Be carefule out there and best wishes too ya!

    TIm,
I read your interesting fact's about me. Shoot if you were out here Truckee or Reno I'd hire you. Sounds as if your interested in a career not a job. And that would be a asset to most any company. Good luck. IF i can answer any questions don't hesitate to give me a call or message me.

    Thanks Dennis,
I appreciate that and you are right, I'm looking for a career and not just a job. I've been self-employed in one business venture after another, or simultaneously for most of my life. Every time I start a new venture I always seem to think to myself how much better off I would probably be with a stable career in this field.
I guess the memories dating back so long ago with my relative's company are one of the things that attracts me to this field aside from the obvious diversity of tasks which really makes it seem like there aren't many dull moments and there is always more to learn in one way or another.
    Take care,
    Tim
